About

the bank

The Button Bank Gallery was inspired by friends Stacey Waterson and Paul Bieleski. It developed from a love of colour, a sense of creativity and of course buttons; a key feature of Paul's work.

This privately owned 1920's built bank currently has space available for community artists to display their art for sale. Stacey invites interested artists to contact her for further information regarding this.

A great attraction for South Taranaki! Various local and national tourist and visitor groups continue to make bookings.

The gallery is currently open by appointment. To aid in having the doors open on a more regular basis, volunteers are welcome and encouraged to use time in the gallery for continuing with their own personal art.

Stacey is keen to pursue her interest in art therapy and looks forward to further community involvement in this unique gallery.
